An article published on The Assam Tribune on Pet Overpopulation – A serious concern

An article has been published on 22nd June, 2018 in The Assam Tribune stressing in the importance of overpopulation amongst cat and dog. It highlighted the problem of population explosion and pet overpopulation has been highlighted time and again at different platforms. It talks about the negligence of people before they adopt pet and preventive steps to be taken off after they adapt a pet. Animal Birth Control and Anti Rabies Vaccination (ABC-ARV) program are developed by World Health Organisation (WHO) to control pet overpopulation. India has therefore adopted the ABC-ARV program in 1964 to control pet overpopulation instead of euthanizing them. JBF(Just Be Friendly) is extensively working for birth control and rabies control through the animal birth control and Anti Rabies programs for Dogs( Street dogs) since 2009.
